Initial version of series EMU 581 / 583 from year 1973 in H0-scale. On offer is now the initial longest version of this type of train with more than 3500mm length (possibly the longest Japanese H0-train on stock), a brand new and complete FULL LENGTH H0 TOMIX set of the electric limited express EMU 581 / 583 series "JNR Limited Express Series 583 (Tsubame and others)" (Tomix 96019+ H0-019), operational date 1973, Showa 48. This offer does not only includes the basic set, but all of the following sets (according to manufacturer's suggestions):

The complete model train consists of 13 units, comes with Scharfenberg and Kadee couplings, and uses 2 CANON made DN16 motors with flywheels for smooth operation. Kindly note that a minimum radius of 490mm is necessary. For passing S-curve, a wider radius would be needed.
In 1967, the limited express train 581/583 was introduced on the "Midori" (Shin-Ōsaka to Kumamoto) limited express during daytime and on the "Gekkō" (Shin-Osaka to Hakata) limited express during nighttime.
In 1968, 583 series started operation on the "Hatsukari", Ueno -> Aomori via Tōhoku Main Line during daytime and on the "Hakutsuru", Ueno -> Aomori via Tōhoku Main Line during nighttime; and also on the "Yūzuru", Ueno - Aomori via Jōban Line during nighttime.
